Aimee Ruiz Joins Ektelon® as New Promotions Manager and Product Development Coordinator

Bordentown, New Jersey– March 26, 2010 – Ektelon, the racquetball leader, is proud to announce that six-time consecutive Women’s National Doubles champion Aimee Ruiz has officially joined the company as its new Promotions Manager and Product Development Coordinator. In her new role, Aimee, will focus her expertise and attention on promotions primarily, working with the vast network of Ektelon players advocates and industry leaders to further elevate the brand around the world.
In addition to Aimee’s great on court accomplishments, she has been a key advisor for Ektelon and President of the New Jersey Racquetball Association for the past 2 years. On the court, Aimee has captured six consecutive Women’s and 7 Mixed Doubles National Championships including the 2009 Singles Championship and 2010 National Women’s and Mixed Open Doubles Championship. She is also a US National Team member who will be competing in the World Racquetball Championship in Korea during August 11-22, 2010.
A native of New Jersey Ruiz will be based in the Ektelon headquarters in Bordentown, New Jersey but will continue to be a frequent face out in the field, interacting with player and consumers as both corporate and athlete representative at various tournaments, clinics, speaking engagements and demo events.
